PAULIE CACCAMISE teaches piano, violin and guitar in Highlands Ranch and Central Park.
Paulie Caccamise (MFA, MS.ed) is thrilled to share music and his love of music with others through lessons and performance.
He grew up dedicating most of his life to music through the piano, violin, choirs, guitar and performing in theatrical musicals. Mr Guy Brown, his high school music teacher, introduced Paulie to jazz theory and ideology. Most days they would learn and listen to jazz and its “musical cousins” during lunch break. He fell in love with the great pianists like Ramsey Lewis, Gershwin, Vince Gerald, Ruben Gonzalez and Ray Manzarek among others like Fats Waller.
In college, Paulie Caccamise studied theatre and had a classical piano teacher who encouraged him to write his own music. Since then, Paulie has been commissioned to compose a couple of musicals which were performed including Franny The Flamingo and Good Person of Szechwan. Paulie has an avid hobby of exploring and collecting new music from all genres and eras. He has also leant his hand as a pianist or violinist in a few bands through the years.
With a master’s in education and a certified teacher, Paulie has that extra Je Ne Sais Quoi that he can offer his students. He enjoys teaching private lessons amidst his public school teaching. He has private students of his own in Denver, CO and in the past Austin, TX through lone star music academy, as well as Beijing, China through WangJing music studio.
He looks forward to using a fun, yet disciplined structured approach to helping you learn music!
